Who This Is For
Firms turning work away
You have clients you have been turning away, and your bench is missing the capacity to take them on.
Firms adding a service line
You want to add bookkeeping, accounting, or tax under your own brand. Most firms start with one service line and add others as they see how the file runs.
Firms with tax season overflow
You can add clients for the season and reduce scope afterward without renegotiating a contract or carrying a hire through a slow summer.
The Problem
Hiring takes months
Hiring in-house takes two to four months including ramp, before the new hire is carrying real client work.
Scaling down is difficult
Once tax season ends, scaling down an in-house team is difficult, and the cost stays on your books through a slow summer.
Outsourcing is hard to forecast
Traditional outsourcing is billed hourly or per task, which makes monthly costs harder to forecast.
The vendor is visible to your client
With traditional outsourcing, the vendor is often visible to your client, which puts the relationship at risk.
Here is what changes.

How It Works
Onboarding starts with one client, not a full commitment. The software stays in your client's name, and you stay the administrator from the first day.
01
Scoping call
Onboarding starts with a scoping call on the specific client, not a generic pitch.
02
Access setup
The software stays in your client's name. We join under your firm's account at the permission level you assign, and you stay the administrator. You can remove us from any file at any time without asking us.
03
Cleanup
We clean up whatever the prior bookkeeper left and move the file onto a fixed monthly cadence.
04
Monthly cycle and ongoing support
We reconcile and close, you review and deliver, and the workpapers stay filed where your team can reach them.

Software We Work In
We work inside your client's own QuickBooks or NetSuite account rather than moving anything into a Monily environment. No migrations required. Your firm stays administrator and assigns our permission level. You can revoke access yourself at any time.
Industries We Serve
Your clients come from every industry. We set up their books around how each one earns and spends, and deliver the work under your brand.

Asked Questions
Book a free consultationWhite Label Accounting, Explained
Every firm owner asks the same question first. Who owns the relationship once the work leaves the building? You do. Monily works as a subcontracted team behind your firm.
Hiring in-house takes two to four months including ramp, and scaling down after tax season is difficult. Traditional outsourcing is billed hourly or per task, which is harder to forecast, and the vendor is often visible to your client.
The practical difference is what happens in March. A white label arrangement lets you say yes to work you would otherwise turn away, then pull the scope back in May without a layoff conversation.
Tax work sits with Monily tax practitioners, and Monily is an IRS CAA. Returns are prepared for your review and your signature.
The engagement letter stays in your name. The invoice comes from you. The renewal conversation is yours. Monily works as a subcontracted team behind your firm, and our name does not appear in your client's file, portal, inbox, or reports.
If you want us on a client call, we join as your bookkeeping team and introduce ourselves that way. If you would rather we never appear at all, that works too. Nothing reaches your client without going through you first.
Under your brand means more than swapping a logo. Monthly financial packets, reconciliations, and management reports come back in your template, with your logo and your formatting, ready to forward or present without edits.
Client-facing communication goes out from your firm, not ours. You review the close, you deliver the numbers, and you answer the questions. We stay behind you with the workpapers ready in case a question needs one.
Your client's data stays in your client's system. We do not move files into a Monily environment and we do not hold anything you cannot pull yourself.
Bank feeds run read only. Team roles run at least privilege, so a person assigned to reconciliations does not carry payroll access. The audit trail stays inside the client file where a reviewer expects to find it. Periods lock after your review, and the unlock control stays with you. Every assigned team member works under the same confidentiality agreement your firm signs with us.
Firms buy capacity, so the timelines matter more than the feature list.
| Commitment | Standard |
|---|---|
| Partner onboarding | 3-4 business days |
| New client file live after access is granted | 5-10 business days |
| Monthly close delivered to you | Day 10 of the following month |
| Cleanup and catch up projects | A few weeks depending on volume and condition |
| Response to a partner ticket | Immediately |
| Response during January through April | Immediately |
Winning the client is your job, so the material that helps you win it comes with the partnership.
- Proposal template you can put your logo on and send the same day
- Scope of work template covering bookkeeping, cleanup, and tax add ons
- Sample branded report pack showing what your client receives each month
- Prospect one pager explaining your bookkeeping offering in your voice
- Close checklist covering access, documents, and the first month cadence
Whether or not you pick Monily, six things separate a partner from a liability.
- Ownership in Writing: Client ownership, non-solicitation, and confidentiality should be in the agreement, not on the website. Ask to see the clause.
- Who Touches the File: Ask for credentials of the people doing the work, not the people running the company. Ask whether the same team stays on your files month to month.
- The Access Model: A partner who wants files moved into their own environment is creating a dependency. Access should run through your client's software with you as administrator.
- A Review Layer: Ask what happens between the preparer finishing and the file reaching you. If the answer is nothing, you are the review layer.
- Turnaround in Days: Vague answers about being responsive are worth nothing in April. Get dates.
- Exit Terms: Ask what you receive if you leave. A clean file, workpapers, and documented procedures should come back without negotiation.
Clients churn. That should cost you a month of fees, nothing more.
Engagements are month to month. When one ends, you get the file in its current reconciled state, the supporting workpapers, and the written procedures we followed. Access closes on your instruction. Because the software was always in your client's name, there is nothing to migrate and nothing to release.
The same applies if you end the partnership entirely. You take every file, and we do not contact the underlying clients.
Most clients who come to a firm mid-year arrive with a file that needs work before it can be closed monthly. That first project is usually what decides whether the client stays.
We take on catch up work as a standalone project, priced separately from the monthly fee. That covers reconstructing prior periods, rebuilding a chart of accounts that grew without a plan, tying out opening balances, and clearing the uncategorized bucket. You get a written summary of what was wrong and what changed, which is often the strongest thing you can put in front of a new client.
Engagements are month to month, with no rigid conditions or fine print to bound you. You can add clients for the season and reduce scope afterward without renegotiating a contract or carrying a hire through a slow summer.
