NetSuite Accounting by an Official Partner
Your NetSuite ledger gets posted daily, reconciled every month, and closed on a schedule, with statements your leadership team can sign off without a second look. Monily pairs your business with a named accountant and a reviewer who work inside your own instance, at a fixed monthly fee scoped to your entities and transaction volume. No ERP for your team to administer.

Who This Is For
Already on NetSuite
You are already on NetSuite, or have a signed implementation date, and nobody in-house has the time or the accounting depth to run it properly.
Outgrown QuickBooks or Xero
You want the migration and the ongoing accounting handled by one team, so nothing gets lost in a handover.
Multiple entities, currencies, or revenue streams
You run more than one entity, currency, or revenue stream and need a close that lands in days rather than at the end of the following month.
The Problem
One click, many wrong lines
A misconfigured item record creates a bad invoice, a wrong revenue schedule, a wrong inventory movement, and a wrong line in the consolidated P&L.
A close that takes three weeks
Manual journals are doing work that configuration should be doing, and nobody can explain why the close is slow.
Numbers that do not tie
Deferred revenue stops tying to the schedules, intercompany balances never eliminate cleanly, and two dashboards show different revenue.
Spreadsheets on QuickBooks or Xero
Consolidation means combining exports by hand every month, and an investor's question takes four days to answer.
Here is what changes.

Before
Your team is keying in transactions, chasing journals, and rebuilding schedules the night before a board meeting. The close drags on, deferred revenue stops tying, and your dashboards disagree.

The period is locked by day twelve, the variances already carry written explanations, and the dashboard your board reads matches the ledger underneath it. A named accountant and a reviewer work inside your own instance.
What's Included
Every engagement covers the accounting side of NetSuite, not a stripped down version that turns into upsells later. Configuration follows how you already operate, and we do not rebuild your business processes around the software.
Book a free consultationDaily posting and reconciliation
Bank, card, and payment processor feeds matched against the ledger, not against a spreadsheet someone maintains on the side.
Entity structure
Chart of accounts, subsidiaries, and entity structure set up around how you report, so consolidation works without manual rework.
Revenue recognition
Revenue arrangements and recognition rules configured in NetSuite, with schedules run each period so deferred revenue reconciles without manual journals.
Monthly close inside NetSuite
Accruals, prepaids, depreciation, intercompany eliminations, currency revaluation, and a reviewed set of statements.
Saved searches and dashboards
Saved searches, dashboards, and board reporting built so your team stops exporting to Excel for routine questions.
Migration from QuickBooks or Xero
History, opening balances, and integrations moved on an agreed date, by the same team that will run your close afterward.

NetSuite holds the data. Growth Score tells you what it says.
Your NetSuite data feeds a Growth Score your leadership team can read in seconds. Saved searches answer questions you already have; the score shows the ones you haven't asked yet.
One score across entities: subsidiaries rolled into one view.
Budget vs actual: variance flagged by department.
Cash conversion cycle: how fast cash moves through the business.
Included on the Growth plan and above.
Growth Score DemoHow It Works
Getting started with our NetSuite accounting services follows the same five steps, whether you are already live, halfway through a poor implementation, or still planning a move off QuickBooks or Xero.
01
Free consultation
We look at how your instance is configured, or how your current system is set up, and how much of your close depends on manual work.
02
Written assessment
We review the chart of accounts, the subsidiary and consolidation setup, which integrations are live, and whether historic reconciliations actually reconcile.
03
Findings and priority cleanup
The assessment comes back as three lists, what has to be fixed before a clean close is possible, what should be fixed in the first quarter, and what is nice to have. You decide what we act on.
04
First full close
Your first close under our team runs on our calendar with a reviewer sign-off, and the reporting pack arrives in the format you actually use.
05
Ongoing support
The cycle repeats faster each month, and by the end of the first quarter the close should be routine and the query list short.
Pricing
Our NetSuite accounting services are quoted after a review call rather than published as a rate card, because two companies with identical revenue can differ by a factor of three in the work their books need.
| Feature | Monthly retainerSteady volume and a predictable budget line | Project workA neglected file, a migration, or a revenue recognition rebuild | Hourly billingAdvisory work, audit support, and ad hoc requests |
|---|---|---|---|
| How it is priced | Fixed monthly fee agreed after a scoping review | Fixed scope and fixed fee | Hourly, outside the retainer |
| What it covers | The full close cycle, reconciliation, reporting, and reviewer sign-off | Cleanup, migration onto NetSuite, or catch-up work, ending when the deliverable is signed off | Requests that sit beyond the agreed monthly scope |

What moves the price is the number of legal entities, the number of currencies, monthly transaction volume, how many integrations feed the ledger and how reliable they are, whether revenue recognition is in scope, the state of the file on day one, and how fast you need the close.
Compare the Options
There is more than one way to run NetSuite accounting. Here is how the common options compare, including where an internal team or an implementation partner is the right answer.

Software We Work In
NetSuite sits at the center. We work with your payment processors, billing platform, expense tool, payroll provider, and any ecommerce or point of sale channels, with reporting kept in NetSuite where it can be. We also work in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, Sage, Zoho Books, FreshBooks, Wave, and Odoo, with Bill.com and Ramp for receivables and payables.
Industries We Serve
NetSuite earns its licence fee in businesses where the accounting is genuinely complicated, so we build the close around how your industry actually operates.
Wholesale and distribution
Purchase orders, receipts, and vendor bills that need to three-way match, and inventory valuation that survives an audit.
Professional services
Project accounting, time and expense capture, unbilled revenue, and percentage of completion where the contract calls for it.
Agencies
Client and project level profitability, with time and expense capture and unbilled revenue flowing into the close.
Retail and point of sale
Point of sale channels feeding the ledger with a reconciliation you can audit, and inventory that agrees to the warehouse count.
Multi-entity groups
Any of the above, repeated across entities, currencies, and jurisdictions, with a consolidation on top.

NetSuite Accounting, Explained
Our NetSuite accounting services fit three situations most often. Some companies are already on NetSuite and short of time, some run several entities or currencies, and some have outgrown QuickBooks or Xero.
You are not a fit if you are on QuickBooks, working fine, and have no reason to move. NetSuite is expensive and the migration is real work, and we will say so on the call. You are also not a fit if you want implementation and customization only with no ongoing accounting, or if you want the lowest hourly rate on the market. If you only need a few hours of accountant time on an occasional basis rather than a monthly close, our Bookkeeper on Demand service is built for that instead.
NetSuite is a general ledger, a subledger, a billing engine, and a reporting layer in one place. That is the reason companies buy it and the reason it goes wrong. A misconfigured item record does not just create a bad invoice. It creates a bad invoice, a wrong revenue schedule, a wrong inventory movement, and a wrong line in the consolidated P&L, all from one click.
It rarely shows up as one big failure. The close takes three weeks and nobody can explain why, because manual journals are doing work that configuration should be doing. Deferred revenue stops tying to the revenue schedules. Intercompany balances never eliminate cleanly. A bank feed stopped syncing months ago and was replaced by a manual upload nobody documented. Two dashboards show different revenue for the same period because the saved searches behind them use different criteria. Inventory value in the system does not agree to the warehouse count.
For companies still on QuickBooks or Xero, the warning signs come earlier. Consolidation means exporting each company and combining them by hand every month. Deferred revenue lives in a spreadsheet that only one person understands. An investor asks a question and the answer takes four days. If three or four of those sound familiar, the spreadsheets are already costing more than the software would.
We review the chart of accounts, the subsidiary and consolidation setup, which integrations are live and which are silently failing, how many journals are keyed by hand, and whether historic reconciliations actually reconcile. The assessment then comes back as three lists. What has to be fixed before a clean close is possible, what should be fixed in the first quarter, and what is nice to have. You decide what we act on. Cleanup runs alongside the first close rather than blocking it.
Dashboards and saved searches are built out, secondary cleanup is worked through, and by the end of the first quarter the close should be routine and the query list short.
If you are moving off QuickBooks or Xero, we keep closing in your current system while the cutover is scoped, then move history, opening balances, and integrations on a scheduled date rather than a blind switch. Migration and ongoing accounting sit with the same team, which removes the handover gap where most migrations lose data quality. If you already have an implementation partner, we stay out of their lane. Configuration and customization stay with them, and the ledger stays with us.
Once your file is current, the monthly cycle runs on a fixed rhythm rather than whenever someone gets to it.
Days one to three. Bank, card, and payment processor feeds are pulled and matched. Anything unmatched goes on a query list rather than into a suspense account. Payroll journals post, and open payables are reviewed against approvals.
Days four to seven. Subledgers close in order. Receivables ageing is reviewed and flagged items go to your collections owner. Payables are cut off, inventory movements and cost of sales are checked against the item records, and revenue schedules are run and reconciled to deferred revenue.
Days eight to ten. Accruals, prepaids, depreciation, and manual journals post. Intercompany transactions are eliminated and currency revaluation runs. Balance sheet accounts are reconciled and supported, not just agreed to themselves.
Days eleven and twelve. A second accountant reviews the file. Variances against the prior period and budget get written explanations before you see them, not after you ask. The period is then locked, and you receive the statements, the variance notes, and the dashboard refresh. A monthly call is available if you want one.
Your one recurring job in this cycle is answering the query list. Everything else sits with us.
Your internal team will always know your business better than we do, and an implementation partner is the right call when the system still needs to be built. A dedicated NetSuite accounting team earns its cost in the work between those two.
The goal is a clean feed with a reconciliation you can audit, rather than a sync nobody checks. If you also need tax filing, payroll, or fractional CFO support, Monily runs those in-house, which means one team and one set of numbers.
NetSuite work goes wrong when the person posting entries understands the software but not the accounting, or understands the accounting but treats the ERP as a fancy ledger. The people running your close need both. Monily has been doing this since 2006, and our team includes experienced tax practitioners. We are an IRS CAA, a QuickBooks Elite ProAdvisor, and an official NetSuite partner. Choosing a NetSuite accounting partner means choosing who is accountable when something does not add up, and with Monily that is a named accountant you can call, not a ticket queue.
Everything runs inside your own NetSuite account under role-based access, and you own the instance, the data, and the audit trail. Migration and ongoing accounting sit with one team, and tax filing, payroll, and fractional CFO support are available in-house as you grow.
