Who This Is For
Raising capital or approaching a lender
You need a model a lender or investor can trace back to its driver, with burn rate, runway, and a cap table that shows dilution across rounds.
Outgrown your spreadsheet
A spreadsheet built to track last month's expenses breaks when someone asks a harder question. You want a driver-based forecast you can stress test.
Weighing a sale, a buy-in, or a big decision
You need a defensible valuation or a scenario analysis for a raise, a sale, a buy-in, or the day a big client leaves.
The Problem
Spreadsheets that break
A spreadsheet built to track last month's expenses starts breaking the moment someone asks a harder question.
Questions with no answer
What happens if a big client leaves, what does a second location look like, and what can you actually offer an investor?
Generic templates
A template with your logo dropped on top is not built on your real numbers.
Numbers that drift
A model that is not tied to your books drifts the moment something changes.
Here is what changes.

Before
A spreadsheet that breaks when someone asks a harder question. You are left guessing what a lost client or a second location would do to the business, and what you can offer an investor.

A driver-based forecast you can stress test, adjust, and defend in a room with a lender, a partner, or an investor. Every model starts with your real numbers, pulled from your books, not a generic template.
What's Included
Every model is built from your actual books and can include any of these building blocks. They tie together, so a change in one flows through the others.
Book a free consultationIncome Statement
Revenue, cost of goods sold, and operating expenses modeled by driver, not by percentage guess.
Balance Sheet
Assets, liabilities, and equity that tie out to the income statement and cash flow automatically.
Cash Flow Statement
Operating, investing, and financing cash flow, so you see runway before you run out of it.
Ratio Analysis
Liquidity, leverage, and profitability ratios benchmarked against your industry.
Tax Scenario Modeling
The tax impact of a decision before you make it, not after you file.
KPI Tracking
The four or five numbers that actually run your business, built into the model, not a separate dashboard.
Rolling Forecast
A forecast that updates as actuals come in, instead of going stale the month after it's built.

Actual vs plan: revenue growth against the model's target.
Margin drift: gross and EBITDA margin compared with your assumptions.
Valuation drivers: growth, margin and efficiency, the inputs investors price.

Meet Our Financial Modeling Expert
Wajiha Danish
Director, Monily
Chartered Accountant (ICAP), ACCA, CGA
Wajiha Danish has spent more than 15 years on the numbers side of business. She started in audit and risk at PwC Pakistan, moved into joint venture finance at a major Pakistani oil and gas producer, then spent over a decade as Controller at HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions North America, responsible for reporting and compliance on large infrastructure projects. Today she works with small businesses and startups across the US and Canada on bookkeeping, accounting, tax, and CFO-level advice.
At Monily, she oversees our financial modeling work, so the person who understands your books also stands behind the model. When you onboard, Wajiha leads the scoping call, sets the structure and assumptions with you, and reviews every model before it reaches you, so you get a file you can edit, explain, and defend.
How It Works
Most models take one to three weeks depending on complexity and how quickly we get access to your data. You see the logic at every step, not just the output.
01
Scoping call
We talk through what the model needs to answer, who's going to read it, a lender, an investor, your own leadership, and what data you already have.
02
Build
We pull your numbers from QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite where possible, build the structure, and set the assumptions as inputs you can change, not numbers buried in a formula.
03
Review
Multiple rounds of feedback before anything is final. We walk you through the logic, not just the output.
04
Delivery
You get a fully editable file you can run yourself.
05
Ongoing updates
We can keep the model current on a monthly or quarterly cadence as your numbers change. A model is a working file, not a one-time report.
Pricing
Pricing depends on the model. A three-statement build is a different scope than a DCF with scenario analysis. Book a free consultation and we'll quote the specific model, not a range that doesn't apply to your business.
Compare the Options
A spreadsheet, a template, and a model built around your business can all produce a forecast. They differ in what happens when someone asks a harder question.

Software We Work In
Models are built in Excel or Google Sheets, whichever your team already works in. If you run on QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite, we connect the model to your live data instead of a static export, so the numbers stay reconciled to your books.
Industries We Serve
Sector specific models cover SaaS, real estate, restaurants, and ecommerce. Tell us your industry on the scoping call and we'll build around how that business actually runs.

Monily builds financial models for owners who need numbers they can defend.
A spreadsheet built to track last month's expenses starts breaking the moment someone asks it to answer a harder question, what happens if a big client leaves, what does the business look like with a second location, what can you actually offer an investor. Monily builds financial models that answer those questions. Every model starts with your real numbers, pulled from the books we or your own bookkeeper already keep, not a generic template with your logo dropped on top.
Buyers rarely search for "income statement." They search for the model they need. Here's what we build.
| Model | What it answers |
|---|---|
| Three-Statement Model | How the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow move together under one set of assumptions. |
| DCF and Valuation Model | What the business is worth today, using WACC, terminal value, and a defensible discount rate. |
| Startup and Fundraising Model | Burn rate, runway, and a cap table that shows dilution across rounds. |
| SaaS and Subscription Model | ARR, MRR, churn, CAC payback, and cohort-level unit economics. |
| Real Estate Model | A debt schedule, debt service coverage, and cash flow by property or portfolio. |
| Scenario and Sensitivity Model | Best case, worst case, and a stress test on the assumption that actually moves the outcome. |
Not every engagement starts with a blank sheet. If you already have a model, whether you built it, a consultant built it, or it came with a data room, we'll audit it before you touch it again. We check the formulas, flag hardcoded inputs sitting where a formula should be, trace circular references, and test whether the assumptions are realistic or just optimistic. You get a written list of what's wrong and what it would take to fix it. Most clients use the review as the first step before a full rebuild, not as a replacement for one.
You own the file. Every formula stays visible, so you, your CFO, or your investor can trace a number back to the driver behind it, not take it on faith. Nothing is locked, password protected, or delivered as a flat PDF. Circular references and hardcoded inputs get flagged and fixed before delivery, not left for someone to find during due diligence.
Financial modeling consulting from Monily goes beyond building the file. We help you use it.
- Business Valuation: a defensible number for a raise, a sale, or a buy-in.
- Cash Flow Projections: what's coming in and going out over the next 12, 24, or 36 months.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: a plan you can hold the business to, and adjust when it doesn't.
- Scenario Analysis: how the numbers move if a client leaves, a hire doesn't work out, or a round takes longer than planned.
- Risk Assessment: where the model is most sensitive, and what to watch.
Monily has built financial models alongside bookkeeping and accounting work since 2006, for more than 5000 businesses across 15-plus industries. Every model goes through an internal quality check before it reaches you.
The same team that reconciles your books builds your model, so the numbers start reconciled instead of needing a cleanup pass first. Once the model is delivered, you can run it yourself or have us keep it current as your numbers change.
